This is an information, advice and referral service to answer questions
asked by parents, child care providers, and other individuals who care for or work with children newborn to 5.
Some of the free services available through the TOT'S LINE include:

Home Connection-Home visiting is available to parents and caregivers of young children to provide information concerning child development, parenting issues and community resources. This service is also available to the Hispanic Community.

Behavioral/Emotional Support & Training (BEST)-Experts are available to work with staff in child care settings as well as in the home with children who are exhibiting difficult behaviors.

Second Step Curriculum-A violence prevention program designed to increase empathy and problem solving skills in young children is available to regulated child care providers who serve 4 and 5-year-olds.

Child Care Provider Training-Workshops are provided for child care providers and parents to receive training in behavior management, classroom management, and other topics as needed.

Babies in Bloom-Programs are hosted by Anne Arundel County Libraries. Parents and care givers are invited to bring their babies (up to 24 months) for a fun filled half-hour of stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays, all specifically designed to stimulate early infant development. Tot's Line will be hosting a discussion and question time for caregivers and their children newborn to five years old after the Babies in Bloom programs.
